Mechanically controlled Center Differential allows power to move front to back when needed.
Traditional AWD System found with most manufacturers including our Mitsubishi Endeavor. How it works.
FW Bias set at 85%. However, the Active Center Differential can transfer power to 60-40. "Lock" version can transfer power to 40-60.
Available on Outlander ES, Outlander Sport, & Lancer. Similar system available on Subaru.
S-AWC adds an ActiveFront Differential to adjust power (l-r) or (r-l). the Lancer Evolution utilizes a rear differential (Active yaw Control)
This version is standard on the Outlander (except the ES model). This isn't available on our competition.
